The starboard deck looking aft. Note the glop piled on leaking deck seams to seal them, and her tremendously strong rigging. The row of deadeyes is beautifully parcelled and served, a labour of love. A foot or so below the top of her bulwarks runs a smoothed baulk of timber like a cap rail, a wide and thick shelf where the deadeyes are anchored. It is one of the few bits of wooden trim abovedecks.
