A Handsome Junk: Chi Lin

At anchor off Nanaimo, in the shallow waters between Newcastle and Protection Islands on their western side, is a handsome traditional junk rigged vessel that I've admired from shore many times. Recently on a clear calm January day I rowed through the anchorage in my puny little Walker Bay 8 and took some photos of this striking boat. If anyone knows her owner and/or history, please drop me a line!

Postscript: I am pretty sure that this is the same Chi Lin, if that helps...
