Afterdeck

What a mess eh? Her generous transom offered lots of options for mounting hardware and the builders went to town. She has a radome on a stern arch (out of frame at the top of the picture), some kind of windvane steering gear (added as an afterthought, the paint inside the mech space is burnt away where new welding was done after the interior was complete). The curious angular contraption is a fitting for emergency tiller -- the rusty pipe on which it perches is an extension of the rudder post. There's a wishbone horse for the main boom.
