Gear Shift of Doom

Rats! I wish I had tested the bowden cable mechanism before asking Evan to install the new shift lever. The cable system didn't work and now we have a deck punch-through and a useless lever. This was a real engineering failure. I guess the lever will come in handy someday if I repower and have a hydro or Morse cable shift, but until then it's just a line catcher.
