Blisters

In places water has got behind the paint through pinholes and produced blisters, little pockets of water that raise the paint. There usually is very little rust inside them because the tiny pocket of water soon runs out of oxygen; however they need to be popped, the lowest intact layer exposed and allowed to try out, before repainting (else the new paint will not stick properly and will lift in the same spot). They can be popped with any sharp pointy tool, like one corner of a scraper blade. I am pleased to see relatively few areas of blistering.
