Bad Patch

This is a typical bad patch in the worst location, right at the waterline. I think this may have been more damage from the dismasting. The next step is to scrape the hull surface all over to get rid of any loose paint that can be easily removed. Evan's original method involved ordinary paint scrapers but we found that faster/better results could be achieved with sharp-bladed scrapers which are dragged rather than pushed across the surface.
